Michael Lynn Trotter

Michael Lynn Trotter, 47, was born on June 11, 1976, in Jasper, to Vernice Jones Lucas and Freddie Argustas Trotter Sr. He spent his younger years in Amory, Miss., before moving to Walker County permanently.

On September 4, 2023, he took his last breath at his home in Jasper, surrounded by the people he loved most.

A Celebration of life will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, with burial at Bennett Cemetery, with a private graveside service. Shane Morrow will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Argustas Trotter Sr.; and grandparents, William and Lillian Jones and Oliver and Opal Trotter.



He is survived by his loving wife, Tiffany Mann Trotter; daughter, Abby Lynn Tedford (Teddy); most precious granddaughter; Blair Lynn Tedford; mother, Vernice Jones Lucas; brother, Freddie Argustas Trotter Jr; sister, Karrie Duckworth (T.J.); nephews, Trenton Michael Trotter, Spencer Sanders and Trey Sanders; niece; Jaidan Sanders; his loyal dog, Foster, and beloved rabbit, John Wayne; and a host of other family members and a close group of special friends.
