Maxine T. Rollins

She was born in Oneonta, Alabama, to Gus and Lily Tidwell. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Jasper and is a current member of Redemption Baptist Church.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2 p.m. Jim Collins will officiate. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Rollins; four brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by her son, John M. Rollins (Brenda); her daughter, Carol Ann Brown (Bryan); grandchildren, Staci Rollins Brakefield (Jim), John Marcus Rollins (Jennifer), Emily Carol Brown Gann (Patrick) and Abigail Katherine Brown Tucker (Cody); and great-grandchildren, Cain Brakefield, Reese Brakefield, Lillie Grace Gann, Sarah Catherine Rollins, Andy Gann, Mary Abbott Rollins, Elliott Gann and Annie Brynn Tucker.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Gann, Cody Tucker, Jason Brown, Eddie Brown, Mark Williams and Luke Tidwell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Gann, Bill Hyde, Jimmy Tidwell, Garry Brown and Scott Bradshaw.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Redemption Baptist Church or Gideon’s International.
