Marilyn H Nichols

Due to covid the family will have a private viewing on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. A private family graveside will be held at Walker Memory Gardens. Levi Sides will officiate.

Marilyn was such a kind and sweet lady with a gentle soul. Her life was a living example of Paul’s words in Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind to one another tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Hudson Nichols; daughter, Sharon Sue Nichols; parents, John R. and Katie Harwell; her twin sister, Carolyn Brooks; brothers, Charles Ray Harwell and James D. Harwell.

She is survived by her sons, Hudson Ray Nichols (Sherry) of Owensboro, KY and Lindsey Joe Nichols (Cathy) of Eldridge; grandchildren, Amanda Nichols of Owensboro, KY, Alyssa Nichols of Owensboro, KY, Derek Nichols (Shannon) of Alpharetta, GA and Lauren Huggins (Pierce) of Birmingham; great grandchildren, Hailey Grace Huggins, Webb Henry Huggins and Jackson Thomas Nichols; brothers-in-law, Jim Brooks of Corinth, MS and Hardeman Nichols of Dallas, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, and innumerable friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Sharon S. Nichols Memorial Scholarship Fund Freed-Hardeman University 158 E. Pallbearers will be Don Champion, Bryan Nichols, Joe Nichols, Ray Nichols, John Blackwood and Pierce Huggins.
