Lowell T. Hadder passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Andy Frazier will officiate.
Lowell was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. He owned Hadder Trucking, operated and managed 50 trucks. He served in the National Guard from 1972-1978 as a specialist 4th class. He served 2 activations and was honorably discharged. He was a Past State Director of National Barrell Horse Association and owned a world champion barrel horse in 2001. He loved to spend time with his family, especially the grandkids. His hobbies included fishing and horseback riding.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Blake and Dortha Hadder; grandparents, Floyd and Ola Davis; in laws, Darrell Lackey, Joe Henderson, and JoAnn Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Kaye Hadder; children, Adam Hadder (Sheena) and Amanda Adcock (Jason); grandchildren, Braylon Adcock, Briley Adcock, Carolina Adcock Hoover, and Hayes Hadder; sister, Gale Lackey; nephews, Quenton Lackey (Abbey), A.J. Bush, and Heath Graham; niece, Haley Sanford (Jerry); sister in law, Cathy Reid (Michael); and a faithful loving dog, Fancy Mae.
Pallbearers will be Jason Adcock, Braylon Adcock, Quenton Lackey, Adam Hadder, Jamie Hamilton, and Tony Hadder.
