Jackie K Sherer

Jacqueline Kitchens Sherer, 86, of Jasper, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 4, 2020, at her residence. A private graveside service was held on Monday, April 6, 2020, at Walker Memory Gardens. Officiated by Charles Kitchens.

Leaving behind the love of her life after 70 years together. She was a faithful and life long member of Zion Rest Primitive Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She spent most of her life loving and laughing with her family. She enjoyed working with her flowers and traveling. She was a member of the Boldo Homemakers Club for many years. She retired from the lunchroom at Memorial Park School after serving 20 years. She will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Elma Kitchens; son; James Sherer; daughter-in-law, Alice Sherer; sister, Jetty Burnette; and grandchildren, Logan Lynn Sherer and Jackie Nicole Grace.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Henry Sherer; daughter, Suzette Grace(Rodney); sons, Tim Sherer(Tracey) and Thomas Sherer(Darlene); siblings, Jean Waid and Joye Leggett; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Zion Rest Primitive Baptist Church.
