Darwin Keith Hoobler

A graveside service will be held at New Prospect Baptist Cemetery, on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 10 a.m., with Kilgore-Green Funeral Home directing. Charles H. Kitchens will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward (Jim) and Miriam Hoobler; brother, Kevin Hoobler; grandparents, Bob and Mary Gardner; and cousin, Jim Hoobler.

He is survived by his daughter, Emily Hoobler; step-daughter, Haley Smith; step-son, Eric Ezekiel; nephew, Chaz Hoobler (Shyra) and their daughter, Kazleigh; cousins, Loretta Price and Myra Cole; girlfriend, Barbara Ezekiel; aunt, Pat Blanton and a host of family and friends.

Keith was a father, a brother, an uncle, a friend, something special and different for us all. He was an intelligent man and an excellent mechanic. Keith had the ability to get a laugh out of anyone he was around. He was full of personality. Keith was also kind, the type of person who would give the shirt off his back to you. To know him was to love him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on forever.
