Carla Ellis Barton

Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, March 23, 2019, from 1 until 2 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Ronnie Barton will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nell Andrews Ellis and Joseph Dudley Ellis III of Birmingham; in-laws, Mildred B. Grant and William Grant of Jasper.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney Stephen Barton; daughter, Kelley Schuck; brother, Joe Dudley Ellis and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Birmingham Humane Society.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jody D. Ellis, Joseph D. Ellis, Dana Andrews, David Tylor, and Steve Ward.
