Barbara Jean Wright

Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 10 until 11 a.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 11 a.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens.

Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a member of West Walker Church of Christ and was a proud business owner for over forty years. Barbara enjoyed working in her flower beds, spending time with all of her grandchildren and she especially loved fishing with Jack. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wright and parents, Albert and Mary Julian.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Painter Whitfield (John) and Beckie Painter Giannetti (Nick); grandchildren, JP Whitfield, Zachary Walker (Abigail), Chloeey Walker and Tori Walker; stepdaughters, Louise Gaddy and Laura Tubbs; brother, Billy Julian (Denise); sisters, Anne Julian Clark (Jerrel) and Mary Julian Barton (Billy) and a host of other family members and friends.
