Merwin loved fishing & singing, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #564 A.F. & A.M.; First Baptist Church of Richlands; First Baptist Church of Richlands Choir, Nobel Order of the Shrine, Scottish Rite Temple; New River Harmony; The Barbershop Quartet ; the Faithful Five singing group, and served his country in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt Christopher & Eva Pittman Marshburn
He is survived by his wife, Ann Findeisen Marshburn of the home, one sister, Velma Valley of Jacksonville, and several special nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Richlands with Rev. Dr. Don Christian officiating. Burial will follow at the Marshburn Family Cemetery, Cow Horn Rd. with Masonic Rites & Military honors.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm, Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Richlands.
