Linda Susie Robb

Linda Sue Robb, Jacksonville, NC, age 62, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Linda was a native of Grundy, VA and obtained a Master’s Degree in Special Education. She retired from teaching after 20+ years of service. She is survived by her husband, James Robb of Jacksonville; her parents Troy and Meldena Compton; one brother, Troy “Buddy” Compton, Jr.; two sons, Tony Stiltnerand Jeremy Stiltner; and one daughter, Suzanne Stiltner, all from Abingdon, VA. Linda was also survived by three step-children: Ken Robb, David Robb and Michelle Armstrong and was a Nana to 14 grandchildren. Linda enjoyed flower gardening, NASCAR, and was an avid reader. After retirement, Linda enjoyed traveling with James and spoiling their animals.

The family will receive friends at 11:30 with a service at 12:30on Monday, March 16, 2015, at Johnson Funeral Home located at 2685 Henderson Dr. in Jacksonville. The committal service will be held at 2:00 at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
