How bout I actually picked up the phone and was thinking to call daddy.  Now I/we know that's not possible, so, I played some of his voice messages (tears of Joy).  and the last voice message was I called to say hello and I love you!  Then I thought that after so many years I would now place a message on the board.  Some of the memories:  His quirky laugh, our long and great conversations (God was always part of the conversations), our visits, daddy drinking coffee and/or Pepsi and his love of God & Family.

Today,as I woke up,I was reminded again that I couldn't call you on phone as I normally did.Your voice my spirit grieves for,the smile that I always waited to hear on the phone.The laughter from the phrase "MY LORD",when someone has did something silly.The words "I Love you"on the phone from you I will never hear again.Until,we meet again,you have left your imprint on my heart. I'm so thankful that I was able to tell you I love you and appreciated you more than you could ever imagine on the day you smiled and told "God I'm ready".I wasn't ready but,I knew It wasn't my will to be done BUT, GOD'S  will shall and was done.I Love and Miss YOU Dad. This will be my first Father's Day in 2015 that will never be the same.Love your daughter Sonya:)

Not a day goes by that I don't think about you, and I am so glad that god chose you to be the father that you were to all of your girls  Ann, Denise Lisa, Shell, Penny, Sam and Margie. Love you and you will NEVER  BE FORGOTTEN.

Daddy, I pray that the light you so shined a pathway for others to see the way to Christ, that I will be able to do the same and see you one  day with our HEAVENLY FATHER.I love you and miss you dearly.

My heart goes out to your family at this sad time. I loved Elder Jenkins he was truly an inspiration in my life. I will surely miss him with those good tight hugs and that smile.

My Dad was my Life, My best friend, My encourager and My spiritual advisor.He always said to me "God has a way".I now know that I will have to remember the words and actions that he lived and taught me, and live by them my self.Dad, you may have left this earth but, you are in definitely in my heart.I love and miss you so dearly.Mommy Jewel, please know that words can not express how you feel without your earthly "Rock".But, know this, that "Weaping my endure for a night, but JOY will come in the morning".Dad, is now with our Heavenly Father..dancing and shouting GLORY.I love you and stand on God's word.He will never leave you nor will he forsake you.
