Eric Michael Saunders, Sr., 63 of Hubert, NC, passed away Saturday evening at Carteret General Hospital.
Eric is survived by his wife Cheryl Saunders, sons Eric Saunders, Jr. and Anthony Mathis, daughters Tiffany Saunders, Erica Saunders, Erin Saunders, Anna Courter, and Valerie Shoemaker, brothers Melvin Saunders, Jr., Garick “Gary” Saunders, Niel Saunders and Keith Saunders, sister Catherine Colombe, and 7 grandchildren.
A visitation for Eric will be held Tuesday evening from 6-9 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Jacksonville. A funeral service for Eric will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 PM at Oak Grove UMC of Hubert with Rev Jim Pearson officiating.
Interment will follow the service at the Coastal Carolina Veteran’s Cemetery at 2 PM.
