Betty Humphrey Williams

Betty was a 32 year resident of Holly Ridge and was employed with Wal Mart in Jacksonville for 13 years. She loved gardening, flowers and her family. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother and she will be missed by many.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Williams; her parents, Dalton Humphrey and Dora Mae Cook; and her daughter, Dora “Denise” Lewis.

She is survived by two Sons, James Williams and Wife Bekki, of Holly Ridge and Billy Hall and wife Karen, of Willow Springs; two daughters, Lisa Whiting and Husband Joey and Lynn Anderson and Husband Andy, both of Ranburne, AL; her Brother Ray Humphrey and wife Susan, of Dacula, GA; her Son in Law, Robert Lewis of Holly Ridge; sixteen Grandchildren, twenty five Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 18 at Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.
