Zella Mae Moyer, age 96, passed away October 21, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. Zella was born on May 21, 1922 in Jacksonville to Arthur Bennie Coleman and Nora Willa Coleman. Zella was a longtime member of First Coast Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Zella will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Zella is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Nora Coleman; her husband, John Moyer; and two sons Owen Sikes and Randall Moyer. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Ness (Lee); son, Ernest Moyer; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow the funeral service at Riverside Memorial Park.
