Wilmarie K. Sanders, 84, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida. Wilmarie was born September 16, 1928 in Statesboro, Georgia to John and Janie Marie Koon. She was a lifetime member of Murray Hill United Methodist Church. Wilmarie is predeceased in death by Phil Smith, father of her children. Survivors are her daughter, Phyllis M. Ivey (Steve), daughter, Paula K. Gibbens (Gregg), son, Greg Smith (Carol K.), three stepchildren, seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 am Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in the chapel of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. The family requests donations are made to Murray Hill United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
