A Celebration of Life for Duncan “Unky Dunky” Taylor who passed away on August 14, 2015 will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. at the American Legion in Jacksonville Beach. Born in Blackshear, GA., Duncan spent most of his life in Jacksonville. He served in Vietnam for seven years with the Merchant Marines. Upon his return, Duncan worked as a painter for many local construction companies. He is survived by his wife, Donna Taylor; son, Anthony Keith Taylor; his brother, James Paul Taylor; 5 sisters, Pearl Duran, Evelyn Johnson, Kattie Ward (his twin), Faye Puckett and Debra Johnson; and two grandchildren, Kendall and Bryan Taylor. He was recently predeceased by his companion, Penney, an Egyptian Pharaoh Hound.
