Bill was born November 30, 1958 and grew up in Bridgeport, CT and joined the US Navy at the age of 17, retiring as a diesel mechanic. He was able to put his skills to good use in later years working for several commercial shipping companies traveling all over the world to work on ships. He was a proud Navy Veteran and served his country with honor.
Bill loved his wife of 26 years, his children, his grandchildren, his siblings, nieces and nephews, his friends, his motorcycles and his dogs, not always in that order.
Bill’s most pronounced character trait was his sense of humor. In his final days, the family spent a lot of time remembering moments that brought smiles to our faces. He was a friend to all and always helped both people and animals in need.
He leaves behind to share his stories his loving wife Connie, his sons Matthew (Amy) and Cale, daughters Emma and Alexandra (Luke), his grandchildren Tegan, Levi, Jolene and Bonnie as well as two sisters Julie (Joe) and Denise (also Joe), nieces Olivia and Ava and nephews Michael and Joey. He also leaves behind a loving sister in law Lisa (Kyle) who remained with him until the end.
Bill was predeceased by his father Joseph (Herman) St. Jean, his mother Patricia (Daigle) St. Jean and a brother who died in infancy, Joseph David St. Jean. Along with his most precious dog, Porscha, all are waiting for him with open arms and paws.
A Memorial Service will be held in Bill's honor on Wednesday September 27th, 2023 at 1pm at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church (10472 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32216.)
