William Thomas Jimerson, a 40 year resident of Jacksonville, died in peace surrounded by his family on June 15, 2011. He was preceded by his wife of 59 years, Patsy, and goes to meet her in God’s house to give her a kiss. He spent 22 years in the Navy where he traveled the world extensively and settled in Jacksonville where he worked for Ja-Ru Sales for 20 years. A caring Father for his 6 children: Connie Jimerson McElmurry, Bill Jimerson (Julie), Robin Jimerson Bow (Charlie), Cyndi Jimerson Caraway (Tim), Wayne Jimerson (Vicki), Frank Jimerson (Kristin), 13 grand children, 1 great grandchild, nephews, nieces and surrogate children whom he treated as his own. Dad, Jim, Gramps will be sorely missed by his family and many friends who cared for him deeply. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17th in St. Joseph’s Historic Church, 4152 Loretto Rd. Jacksonville, with Father Daniel Cody as Celebrant.
