After the initial shock and all the planning and arrangement's are made. After all the family and friends go back to life's routines. The loneliness sets in.

I am very saddened to learn of Bill's passing.  I worked for Bill while employed at the South Florida Water Management District.  I considered him my friend and mentor, and I knew him as a fair and compassionate man.  Bill meant a lot to me.  I want to express my deepest sympathy and condolence to  Kathryn and family.

Dear Kathryn:

I was so sorry about Bill.  I didn't know he had passed until Evelyn Price called me today and told me.  Also, I didn't know about Mrs. Crosby until a couple of days ago.  I will be praying for you.  (904) 720-2155.

Kathryn, you and the family will be in my prayers. We love you guys for making us feel like we were always part of your family. Mr. Brannen will forever be missed and loved.

Many,many fond memories of Bill,saddened to hear of his passing.My best to Kathryn and family.You are in my prayers.

I have special memories of Bill and Kathryn from the days when Bill was courting her.  She lived next door to us in the Hillcrest neighborhood with Rachel Free/ Von Susten in WPB.. Bill had just moved down from Jacksonville to work at the FCD(SFWMD). We cherish the good times together. Bill was a great person as well as an accomplished Engineer. Our thoughts and prayers are with Kathryn and the family.

Bill was a leader at the SFWMD and mentor to many people. He was a great engineer and even better person. Bill loved Kathryn and his family most of all. He will be missed. My sympathies to Kathryn and the family on their loss.

I am saddened to learn of Bill's passing.Although I was young I remember Aunt Gladys,Uncle Clifton&the big old house.Mama(Bernice"Bunny")cared very much for"Billy"and was always pleased to see or hear from him.She would often pull out old photos and tell stories of earlier times.Hopefully with the support of family&friends your grief will be lessened.I have some old pictures and would like for you to have them if you wish.Let me know.

Bill  was my Manager ate SFWMD in 1986...  He was a wonderful man, easy to talk to... fair always had an open door He made my first years at the district  a wonderful experience...  The world is now missing a wonderful soul, but Heaven now has  him walking around, making sure all is well.

Bill was a good man who led life as his maker would want him to.  He had a wonderful wife and was blessed with his family and  friends who love him. I am honored and thankful to have known Catherine and Bill for the time I had with them.
