Wilfred "Buddy" Eugene Caron Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Brenda Caron. His son Paul Caron (Susie), daughter Melissa Rowley (Shawn), 4 grandchildren, Marley, Nate, Carley and Stephanie. His brother Bobby Caron (Diane) and sister Kathy Chalcraft. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his father Bud Caron, mother Grace Caron, and brother Chris Caron.

Buddy proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Buddy dedicated his life to helping others. Buddy coached many sports, was a teacher, and a case manager for the state of Florida department of juvenile justice. Buddy taught many babies and children to swim. Buddy was an inspiration to all and inspired many lives.

Buddy enjoyed many hobbies, he loved sailing, the beach, and spending time at his river home in Lake George.

The funeral services will be Monday, March 16, 2020, at 9am at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, 11801 San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32223. Committal Service will follow at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
