Warren V Carrigan Jr.

Warren Vincent Carrigan Jr. of Jacksonville Beach, Florida died peacefully on April 28, 2012 at the age of 83 in the McGraw Center for Caring. He was born in Newport, RI on January 31, 1929 and had several careers, including nearly 20 years in the US Army where he served in the infantry and army intelligence in Korea and Vietnam. After graduating form Salve Regina University in Newport, he had a long career with the US Army Corps of Engineers as a senior program analyst. He is predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Sandra Marie Carrigan and his parents, Warren Vincent Carrigan and Eleanor Mary Carrigan. He is survived by five children: Susan Marie Gates, Cheryl Lynn Carrigan Kuehner, Tammy Lou Gravenor, Calvin James Carrigan, and Warren Vincent Carrigan III. He is survived also by thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL, 32225 at 10:00 am Monday, May 7.
