Walter Roper ‘Joe’ Davis, 91, of Callahan, passed away peacefully in his sleep January 9 in Jacksonville. He is survived by his sons Robert (Patty) Davis and William (Jackie) Davis; granddaughters Jennifer Davis, Miranda (Dane) Conway and Jessica Davis; great-granddaughters Lilah and Ella Conway; brother Jack Davis; sister Martha Hobbs Whitman; and many nieces and nephews.
