Virginia Mary Paine Cogswell (80) died Tue, Jan. 25, 2011 @ Fleming Island, Florida after a long illness. Born September 12, 1930 in Springfield, Mass. & daughter of Chester Paine & Bessie Howard ; sister of Bob, Ruth, Howard & Jackson Paine. Husband Edward Cogswell, Sr. preceded her in death in 1995. A nurse who loved Jesus & last employed as a medical transcriptionist at Mayo Clinic. She settled in Hawaii & Florida. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jax, loved writing music, singing, gardening & birds. Mrs. Cogswell had 9 children and is survived by sons and daughters; Susan Lemn, Ed Jr, Nancy Chew, Linda Decker, Ruth Green, Howard, Gloria Deal, David, and Stephen, 20 Grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and her brother Howard E. Paine, along with many friends and other relatives. Services will be at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, on Sat., Jan. 29, 2011.
