Thomas, or Tom as he preferred to be called, the youngest of five siblings, was born on October 28, 1942, to Ethel and Fred Textor in Ohio. After graduating from Ravenna Township High School in 1960, he began working in the grocery industry. He eventually worked his way up to a long career as a grocery buyer for several different companies. In 1963, he met Mary Stump on a blind date. They wed in 1965 and went on to have three children, Ann Marie(deceased) Karen(Des Moines, IA) and Thomas(Jacksonville, FL). His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. Tom enjoyed golfing, woodworking, and his beloved pets. He was predeceased by his father, mother, brothers Fred Textor Jr. and Charles Textor, and his sister Carol Hayes. He is survived by his wife, Mary, daughter Karen (Dave)Miglin, son Thomas, grandchildren Elizabeth and Evan Miglin, brother Paul Textor, and numerous other in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Tom requested that he be cremated and there will not be a service. His remains will be buried at a future date. The family requests that any memorial donations in his name be made to the Community Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Jacksonville.
