Murray, Thomas W. 72, went home to be with our lord on September 26, 2010. Tom was born in Pocahontas, VA. July 12, 1938. He and his wife Linda were married for 47 years. He was a long time member of Oak Crest United Methodist Church and enjoyed coaching little league baseball for 30 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda, son Grant Murray (Lora), daughter, Lesa Godbold (Chris), 9 grandchildren, Caitlin, Jenna, Grant, Garrett, Christopher, Tyler, Logan, Chase and Lainey; his sister Jean Greenfield, many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Town and Country Funeral Home from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held at Oak Crest UMC, 5900 Ricker Road Jacksonville, Fl. 32244, Friday, October 1, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Community Hospice N.E. Florida, Acosta-Rua Center, for their Love, Care and Tears they shared with our family.
