Thelma Louise Gay Boree was reunited with the love of her life, Henderson (Peck) Boree, Sr. on September 11, 2014. She was surrounded by her children and pastor. Our mother was a lady of strong faith and loved her Lord. She was a member of Riverside Presbyterian Church over 70 years, was an elder and was involved in her church circle. She was a member of Riverside Chapter #218 OES over 55 years and served as Worthy Matron 2 years.
She was a 51 year member of Khem Temple #85 Daughters of the Nile and served as Queen in 1978 and parliamentarian for many years.
She was a mentor to many. Her life revolved around her family, friends and church. She was a loving, caring, giving, strong & determined lady and was respected by all that knew her. She will be greatly missed by her children William Boree (Debby), Verna Payne (Rick) Shirley Flynn (Robert), Henderson (Henny) Boree, Jr. (Jelana Edwards) and Donnie Boree (Terri), her grandchildren Greg Boree (Melanie), Marla Plaisted (Jimmie), Tara Veatch (John), Deena Brannon (Jamie), Jessica Brannon (Marc), step granddaughters Chantel Schellenberger, Robin Richardson, 9 great grand- children and 5 step great grandchildren. Her brothers, William W. Gay (Eloise), Robert Gay & her sister Loretta Weirauch and many nieces and nephews.
Life will never be the same without our mom. She always put others first.
