Terry Mark Horton Sr.

Terry Mark Horton, 63, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, December 31, 2020. After a long battle with cancer, God gave him complete healing and he passed peacefully with his devoted wife of 44 years, Suzanne, by his side.

Terry was born August 5, 1957 to Henry Russell and Evelyn Thomas Horton in Jacksonville, Fl. Throughout his life, those who knew Terry knew him to be consistent, passionate and determined. Terry loved being Suzanne’s “Honey”, his children’s “Daddy,” and his grandchildren’s “Pops.”

Terry used his cancer diagnosis as an opportunity to share with everyone he met about what God had done during this cancer journey.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Evelyn Horton. Terry’s memory lives on through his wife, Suzanne Selph Horton, children, Rosalind Horton Reinolds (Chris), Terry Mark Horton, Jr. (Kaye), and Melody Horton Lee (Brock), his grandchildren, Kendra, Trent, Micah, Kinsey, Noah, Elijah, Isaiah, Avery, Reagan, and Macie, his siblings, Carolyn Hinckley (Paul), Wayne Horton (Judy), Kevin Horton (Jane), and Al Horton (Marie), and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 11 am Thursday January 7, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Gray Gables, 54031 Church Road Callahan, Florida 32011. Burial to follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
