Sylvia Fairley Janes, 92, Died April 10, 2023 at her home in Live Oak, Florida; where she resided with her daughter. She was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida.
She was a graduate of Landon High School, class of 1949, and enjoyed having lunch with her high school friends once a month after all those years. She enjoyed bowling for more than 30 years because she was with friends.
She was a lifelong member of All Saints Episcopal Church for over 60 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roy L. Janes JR. after 53 years of marriage. She is survived by her son David Janes (Becky) of Madison, Florida, And her daughter Susan Janes of Live Oak, Florida.
She was a loving mother and homemaker, she found great pleasure in caring for her home, children, and her flowers in later years.
