Susan Ann Moran, age 70, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. Susan was born on April 8, 1953 in Newport, Oregon to William Ernest Goreham and Doris Irene Goreham. She was married to Leonard Harris Moran, Jr. on February 2, 2013. She was a high school graduate, went to college and was on the Dean's List during her education. Susan was a retired deli manager for Gate Gas Station, and also was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, liked to cross stitch, and loved Elvis. Susan also enjoyed cooking and cookbooks.
Susan is survived by her children James Dean Palestino, Carl Edward Palestino, Dora Lynne Skelton, and Anthony Andrew Palestino; daughter-in-law Nancy Palestino; son-in-law Anthony S. Frazier; one brother Randy Goreham; fourteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Doris and William Goreham; brother William Lewis Goreham; two husbands Dominick Joseph Palestino and Leonard Harris Moran, Jr.; son Dominick Palestino; and one daughter Roberta Dees.
A graveside service for Susan will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
