

Sue Ann Boettcher Crenshaw, 54, passed away on September 26, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on September 25, 1964 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and grew up in Winona, Minnesota. She attended St. Cloud State University and the University of Minnesota Morris and received a Masters in Health Care Administration from Cardinal Stitch University. Sue served in the United States Army from 1994 – 1997, was a First Lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps, a Health Services Materiel Officer and Health Services Administrative Assistant. She received the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal and National Defense Service Medal.
Sue married Dr. Steven Crenshaw in 1996, and remained a homemaker, raising their two children, Ashley Ann and Joshua Ellis. She attended Lakewood United Methodist Church of Jacksonville and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Winona, Minnesota. She had a passion for cycling and running and eagerly participated in the River Run, Jacksonville Marathon, and Mini-Triathlons, enjoyed the beach and St. Johns River, and was a dedicated parent volunteer at Hendricks Elementary during her children’s entire time there.
Surviving are her husband, Dr. Steven M. Crenshaw; children, Ashley and Joshua; mother, Sylvia Boettcher; mother-in-law, Ann Wise Crenshaw; sisters, Joanne Riska (Tom), Lynn Fjellanger (Russell), Cindy Schuerle (Sigurd); brothers, Dale Boettcher, Gary Boettcher; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Gulley (Stuart), Suzanne Guarisco (John); 7 nieces; 10 nephews; and her beloved poodle, Henry.
The family wishes to express their most sincere appreciation to the Medical and Nursing staff in Baptist Medical Center ICU for their professional and compassionate care in her final days. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 12Noon at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Winona, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Humane Society or Hazelden Betty Ford Clinic.
