Steven Eric Jones

Steven (“Steve”) Eric Jones, 56, died on April 1, 2023, in St. Augustine, Florida. Born in Panama City, Florida in 1966, to the son of Thomas and Geraldine Jones. He was a graduate of Mosely High School class of 1984. Steve married Lori Ann Hall on April 26, 1986, moved to Jacksonville, Florida and spent his life as a loving son, husband, father, uncle, and friend. Steve spent 38 years in the automotive industry, the last 16 years working at Arlington Toyota as the Parts Director. Steve enjoyed golfing, attending music concerts and football games, and relaxing on the beach. He also spent many years coaching girls’ travel softball.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Jones. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Lori Jones, his mother Geraldine Jones, his daughters Lindsey Culbreth (husband, Jeremy and granddaughter, Camryn), Kelly Jones (boyfriend, Anthony Giordano) and his father and mother-in-law, Jim and Jean Hall. He is also survived by his sister, Debbie Jones Tennyson (nieces, Mackenzi and Morgan Croft), sister-in-law Gay Wys (brother-in-law, Richard and nieces, Kayla Wys Michuda and Kelsey Wys) and brother-in-law Jeffrey Hall (sister-in-law, Kim Hall and nieces, Maegan Hall Bowen and Taylor Hall).

The Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Fruit Cove Baptist Church in Fruit Cove, FL. The service will be led by Pastor Timothy Maynard.
