Steve Paugh, my bestest buddie in the world, do you know how much I miss you? I have not rode my Harley as often since you been gone, it has been a year now  and I still cry thinking about you! ( Wiping tears)  I miss you X2. You will never b forgotten!

Hearing the loss of Steve has taken me by surprise, My family and I have lived next door to Steve and his brother for the past 10 years. He was always so kind, helpful and caring. My husband and I knew of his illness but we had no idea how serious. Steve was a good neighbor who kept to himself.  I can remember when we started building our home and we discovered that our neighbor was a Biker. We instantly start judging with thoughts like he wouldn't keep up his yard and have rude noisy company. Boy was we wrong; He turned out to be the BEST NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR any family would have loved to have. In fact, his yard look better than Everyone on the street, now how's that for a Biker (smile). I'm So Sorry to have lost touch with Steve due to traveling with my job. My deepest Condolence to your family. We will All Miss Steve. His warm smile and kind gestures in addition for  putting up with our lil Jalen always asking for drinks out of his cooler and us yelling across hisway for him to  leave Steve alone and Jalen famous claim   "Mr. Steve said, I can have this soda." I am deeply saddened by the news of Steve's passing. We worked together for Wiley Jackson Co, in 78-81. We hunted together and shared many a good time. My best to Pam and children

Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

It is hard for me to think about losing such a good friend. I remember the few hunting trips and Harley rides together. And I will never forget the 2003 season Gator Bowl in JV watching WVU and UM duke it out.  Steve and I had the same nick-name for each other, "Double X". I know all of us will truly miss him.  My deepest sympathy for his family.

I will treasure our times for all my days you were a smile in my heart and will miss riding with you.  God Speed to biker heaven.
