It is with great sorrow, compiled with our Christian faith, that we announce the death of Shirley M O’Neil, age 78. On Wednesday, June 26, 2019, Shirley passed away peacefully in Jacksonville, FL her home. She was born in Boston, Ma on July 27, 1940. Shirley grew up in Dorchester Ma and attended Memorial High in Dorchester.
Shirley has impacted and touched many lives with her inspirational attitude, positive outlook and her love of life. Her happy disposition was infectious as was her laughter. She took great joy in being with her family and grandkids. She will be deeply missed but her laugh will forever live in our hearts! She was a devoted mother, wife, friend, teacher, neighbor and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Brian O’Neil of Jacksonville Fl, daughters Sharon, Laura (O’Neil), 7 Grandchildren, William, Nija, (ONeil) Kyree (Edwards) Bryan, Julian, Tiffany (O’Neil), Chukwuezi (Walker), 3 Great Grandchildren Ayden (Bercy), Jo’syah (Bennett), Tyler (Hester). 2 Sisters Doris (Clark) Barbara (Scott) and a host of cousins and friends.
