Sarah Canady Ferguson peacefully left this world to join her parents, father E.M. Canady, her mother Mildred Canady, and her son Eddie Carter in heaven on October 16, 2018. She worked and retired from AT&T. Sarah truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; gardening, traveling, shopping (preferably with coupons), cooking, spending time with family and friends and loving on her fur babies. Sarah had an uncanny ability to make people feel comfortable and well loved. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie and her husband Paul Nicklus; her son, Kenny Carter; her granddaughter, Shannon (Gary) Gardner and grandson Sean (Ashley) Amorginos; granddaughter, Sarah (Chris) Bennett and her great-grandchildren, Gavin, Holt, Alaine, Grayce, Austyn and Eisley. Her love of laughter and her family will not end with her passing. Family, friends, and others whose lives she touched are invited to Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. to reminisce, grieve and support one another.
