Luca Benjamin Angus, age 2, passed December 1, 2023 in Jacksonville, FL.

Sandra grew up in Wilson, NC and graduated from East Carolina University in 1972. She relocated to Florida and worked for the IRS, where she worked her way from the ground up to become the regional manager of her division. She married William Angus in 1974 and was blessed with an amazing daughter named Korey, in 1981. In 2021, she became a grandmother to the most precious and perfect little boy named Luca. He instantly became the joy of Sandra’s life. She was an avid tennis player and participated in many charities. Sandra loved the holidays and spread holiday cheer like nobody’s business. She was a room-mother at Steppingstones where Luca began preschool.

Luca was a sweet, loving and active 2-year-old boy who enjoyed going on walks in the park and playing on the playground equipment without fear. Luca was an extremely happy child, and his face would always light up when he saw his mommy, GiGi, or PopPop. He had a special bond with each of them. He loved his mommy with his whole heart. He was a huge fan of the holidays, just like his GiGi, and his favorite was Halloween. He loved the giant skeleton by his house, and he made the most adorable pirate. He was so full of love and showed that love to everyone he met, especially the people he passed in the park. He loved all dogs, but especially loved his Chewey, who had passed less than 2 weeks ago. Luca was tragically taken from this world way too soon. He had so much light and love to share.

Sandra is survived by her sister Linda Davis, and three brothers Larry, Fred, and Garry Moore. Luca is survived by his adoring, wonderful mother Korey Angus, and loving grandfather William Angus.

A Celebration of Life for Sandra and Luca will be held Friday, December 8, 2023 at 3:00 PM at San Jose Church of Christ, 6233 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32217.
