Ronald Allen Sr.

On Sunday, August 29, 2021, at 10:24 am, Ronnie Allen, Sr. was called home. He fought a good fight but succumbed to the complications of COVD-19 and pneumonia. He was a loving father, grandfather and an amazing friend. Ronnie was loved by many. He was a native of Jacksonville, FL and the son of Randolph Allen and Nora Belle Rhoden Allen.

Ronnie was a painter by trade and a member of the Painters Union. He was an excellent mechanic and enjoyed playing poker, but his passion was Bull Riding. He was a cowboy. Ronnie was a member of the International Pro Rodeo Association and a Professional Bull Rider. He was the 1986 World Bull Riding Champion, he always said he was before his time.

Ronnie and his then wife, Wrenn Allen, had two amazing and awesome children; a son, Ronnie Allen Jr., and a daughter, Brandy Wrenn Allen.

Ronnie Allen, Sr. was preceded in death by his father, Randolph Allen; brother, Randy Allen; son, Ronnie Allen, Jr.; and long-time girlfriend, Patty Holton.

He is survived by his mother, Nora Belle Allen; two brothers, Joey and Robbie Allen; daughter, Brandy Allen; ex-wife, Wrenn Allen; three grandchildren, Nevaeh, Johnny and Aunna; as well as, numerous family and friends.

Services for Ronald will be October 20, 2021, visitation at 10:00 AM, service at 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205
