Roger R. Johnson, 94, of St. Johns, Florida, passed away at his daughter’s home on April 2, 2021. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Foster City, Michigan. He was the son of Rudolph Johnson and Ina King. Roger was married to Kathryn J. Johnson for 69 years. He was a devoted husband and father.
Roger was in the Army Air Corp and attended Northwestern University. He made a career in the paper industry. Roger and Kay loved to travel. They saw all of the United States and many other countries.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynn (Bert) Willis; his son, Jeff Johnson; and grandchildren, Katie (Cory) Dalton, Kelly Willis, Damon (Jenifer) Willis, Justin Johnson and Julie Johnson; great-grandchildren, Madison, Ellie, Olivia, Alexa, Evelyn, Ranger, Bryce and Bria; sister, Ruth (Roger) Solberg; sister-in-law, Phyllis Johnson; cousin and best friend, Bill Broman.
Roger was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at his home.
