Robert Rowley Temple

TEMPLE, Robert Rowley Temple, 79, went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2021. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina on February 2, 1942 and was the oldest of three children. Preceded in death by his late wife Arlene Street Temple, he is survived by his sweet wife Sally B. Temple; daughter Rebecca T. Chiera; granddaughters Ashley Ocasio (Kevin) and Kelsey Chiera; great-granddaughters Nirmarie and Keilynn; and brother, Lamar Temple. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend; a faithful member of First Baptist Church Jacksonville and 2nd grade Sunday school worker for over 40 years. He served in the United States Navy for four years and was honorably discharged in 1967. His life’s passion was to help everyone find and have a relationship with Jesus. His kind and generous nature and his reflection of God’s love will be missed by all those blessed to know him.

The family will receive friends 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday, March 26th at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32211. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 27th at Arlington Park Cemetery with Dr. Bob Barton officiating.
