Robert Hamilton Scott Jr., age 68, passed away on August 22, 2018. He was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Gladys Scott; and sisters, Barbara, Dolly, and Nettie. He is survived by his loving wife Georgia Darlene Scott; son, Robert Hamilton Scott III; brothers, Floyd, Herbie, and Grover; sister, Dahlia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and a member of Hunter Park Baptist Church. He was a very loving and compassionate man that cherished his family and loved God. A good man, a funny man, he always had a smile. Robert spent 44 years in the automobile industry as a car salesman. Outside of work he loved playing golf and watching Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins football.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
