Robert C. Robertson passed away on March 19, 2021. He was born on September 15, 1937 in Exeter, Ontario, Canada.
He retired after 42 years from First Guaranty Bank and Trust Co where he was affectionately know as "the candy man." He was an active member of the Riverside Lions Club and Westside Rotary for many years . He had a passion for work working and loved to refinish furniture and make ornaments and wall hangings for his friends. He is best known for his ability to strike up a conversation with anyone and make people laugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents C. Leslie and Mabel Robertson. He is survived by his wife, Donna Lehman Robertson, son and his wife, Robbie and Holly Robertson, daughter and her husband, Ruth and Scott Robertson-Gouge. He has 4 grandchildren, Ian and Drew Robertson-Gouge, Savanah Coop, Sophie Robertson, and 2 brothers Jack and David Robertson.
