He was born on April 12th, 1948 to Margaret (Granny) and Damon Purvis in Racepond, GA.
Robert was a proud father, veteran, and amazing fisherman.
He loved his family dearly and the bonds he had with his siblings ran deep.
He was married to Deborah Lynn Purvis and they had a child, Robert David Purvis II.
Robert is survived by his wife, son, and grandson.
