Robert Guy Nicholson

NICHOLSON - Robert Guy Nicholson, 82, passed away on Wednesday September 9, 2020 in Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Nicholson was born in Washington, D.C. on February 3, 1938 to Erven Nicholson and Margaret Woodburn Nicholson. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Management in the restaurant industry. He and his wife moved to Jacksonville in 2005. Mr. Nicholson enjoyed reading, gardening, football and all sports.

A committal service will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday September 17, 2020 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL. 32218 with Military Honors. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday September 18, 2020 at St. Joseph Church Cody Enrichment Center, 4152 Loretta Rd., (268-5422) Jacksonville, FL. 32258

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Patricia R. Nicholson; daughters, Angela Stafford (Gary) and Lisa Nicholson (Tony); sons, Tommy Nicholson (Neeta) and Michael Nicholson (Jennifer); Grandchildren, Jacob, Katie, Kieran, Kyla, Taylor Ann, Shepard, Haven, Nathan; Great Grandchildren, James, Rylan, and Andrew, and many other wonderful relatives and friends.
