Can't believe it's already been a year. I really miss him. 

Bobby and I started in the oxygen shop at NAS Jax, Fleet Readiness Center SE  about the same time in the early 1980's.  He was a great friend and coworker.  Later both he and I became supervisors.  We always had a great friendship and continued to be friends throughout the years.  He had a heart of gold underneath his somewhat hard exterior.  I will miss him greatly and my condolences to all of his family.  God bless.  RIP my friend.

I got to know "Bobby" Ledwick through his attendance at our local NARFE Chapter 1984 meetings.  I did know he lived very close to our daughter on Reatha  Rd, but did not know him at NADEP where he and I worked and retired. Talking with him at our meetings was a good experience. Within a very short time, anyone could tell Bobby was very patriotic and well informed politically. Bobby was a friend and a veteran.  He will be missed by his friends in Chapter 1984, and those from his other business and community circles. Our Prayers and condolences are extended to family and relatives.

Condolences to family and friends.  I served with Bobby in the 146th Signal Battalion  for many years and saw him progress from an E5 to a 1SG.  He always brought a positive and cheerful attitude to the Armory.  One year he physically tracked down (the highway) some members who had taken off with the donated decorations for the Christmas Party.  I know his mentor, the late CSM Leonard Gaster , was very proud of him.  John and Anna Porter

Memories of Bobby begin in Pickettville, move on to our Paxon Eagle 1961 years and then as wonderful friends thereafter.  Bobby loved to laugh and a favorite expression for surprises was "Great God Almighty!" or "Now see here".  He loved his firehouse, the Pickettville Civic Center and keeping Westview Cemetery shipshape.  He loved his family above all else and was always ready to help when needed.   Bobby was a career soldier, NARF retiree and, especially, a devoted family man, true friend and a proud Paxon Eagle.  God bless you all.  

Mr. Ledwick has been my next door neighbor for 31 years and I am going to miss him very much. His grandchildren and my children grew up together. 
He was a very transparent man. You did not have to wonder what he was thinking. He told you. He was aggressive and passionate about what mattered to him. 
He was involved in his community. He watched and protected his neighborhood. He was not afraid of a confrontation if he felt it was necessary, and he knew how to get things done. He even raised his own honeybees. 
Mr. Ledwick (Bobby) was a loyal citizen of his city and country, and became a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees later in life, both attending and supporting the NARFE local monthly meetings. 
When we first became neighbors, he had a dog - a Chow (named Bear?). I don’t recall him owning another dog after the Chow, but boy did he have a lot of cats over the years! 
Mr. Ledwick had a tough exterior, but there was a compassionate side also, and he was always nice to me. I am going to miss him and his protective watch.
