Robert Arnold Ginn Sr.

Robert enlisted in the U.S. Army in November of 1949. He spent 33 months as a Prisoner of War at Pytong, North Korea during the Korean Conflict earning the Korean Service Medal with 9 Bronze Service Stars, as well as several other service medals for outstanding duty. After getting out of the military he married Hattie Ruth McCue on February 13, 1954.

He had a career as a truck driver but his love was being with his family, traveling and motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Hattie Ruth Ginn; daughters, Wanda (Gary) Nye, Cheryl (Danny) Stevens and Melanie (Robert) Lovingood; son, Bobby Ginn; brother, Dan (Pat) Ginn; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Robert will be held Friday, November 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will occur Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
