Rebecca Jean Crook, age 62, passed away on October 17, 2023. She was born in Jacksonville, FL to James and Jean Bennett. She attended Baldwin High School and then worked for Southern State Utilities for 20 years, mostly out in the field. She loved sunbathing, shopping and working in her yard. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, playing slot games on her phone and music.
Surviving is her mother, Jean Bennett (Carl); sons, Archie Crook (Courtney) and Devin Bennett; daughter, Amy Crook (Wayne Joyner); sister, Celina Ard Bennett; grandchildren, Pagie Crook, Collin Crook, Peyton, Crook, Blake Crook, Taylor Crook, Skylar Crook and Bellah Crook; and one great-grandchild, Leilani Rose.
Preceded in death by her husband, Archie Crook; father, James Bennett; brothers, Keven Bennett, Lane Bennett, Jimbo Bennett and Mike Bennett; and sister Jonnie Bennett.

A receiving of friends for Rebecca will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal service will occur Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
