A lifelong patriot, he spent some of his early years in the Air Force, where he proudly served his country. After leaving the Air Force, Ray accomplished what many believe to be the American Dream. Ray owned a successful Dental Lab business for several decades, where his passion and dedication to his craft earned him the respect and recognition of his peers.
When Ray was not working in his lab, he would often find time to enjoy the simple moments of life: golfing with his friends or fishing on a beautiful day. Ray always stayed up to date with the latest technology. One would often catch him in his recliner with his VR headset on or playing his racing game in the living room.
Ray emphasized the importance of family, and would often surround himself in his later years with his many children and grandchildren. He is survived by his children Troy, Chris, Kelly, Kendra, Michael, and Rachel, as well as many grandchildren. He is also survived by his dogs, Rocky and Riley, and his cat, Charlie.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday March 22, 2025 at 5621 Kennerly Rd, Jacksonville FL, 32207 at 2:00PM.
