Peggy C. Cox, age 81, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. Peggy was born April 21, 1932 in Roy, Arkansas to Marvin H. and Bessie Mae (Sanders) Roberson. Peggy enjoyed crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. She was a computer programmer for Ft. Sill Oklahoma in 1968 and continued her career for NARDAC in Jacksonville where she retired in 1992. She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years James Cox Jr., her parents, one daughter Sandra Lee Bowen, two sisters Gloria and Mary, and one aunt Gladys Quinby. Survivors include one son James William Cox III; one daughter Gloria Patrice Cox; one sister, Nadine Crumpler; three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday May 25, 2013 at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
