Pauline Williams Silcox, age 94, came face to face with the Lord on January 9, 2017. Born in Haloe, Georgia, Pauline began playing the piano at the age of 8 and became a local church organist for the rest of her life. She was married to E. Marvin Silcox , who preceded her in death, for 15 years. Throughout her life she touched many people through her musical talent, teaching ability and friendships. She is survived by 2 daughters: Victoria Ussery of Thomson, GA and Catherine Fortson of Jacksonville, FL; 2 granddaughters: Amy Williams (Alex) and Vicky Carregal (Keith), grandson: Brian Ussery (Sally) of Atlanta, GA and 3 great-grandsons: Maddux and Keith Carregal and Henry Ussery. Family will begin receiving friends at 10:30 am on Thursday, January 12, 2017 with services beginning at 11:00 am at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home.
