Paulette Catherine Lukaszewski, age 70, of Jacksonville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 23, 2015. A funeral service will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, March 25th at Hardage – Giddens, The Oaklawn Chapel with burial to follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, March 24th from six o’clock until eight o’clock at the funeral home.
Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Deitrich and the late Pauline Becker Deitrich. Paulette came to Jacksonville while in school and graduated from Landon High School and went on to receive her undergraduate from Jacksonville University and her Master’s from Florida State University. She spent her 25 year career teaching at Christian schools throughout Jacksonville. She was passionate about her faith and sharing it with others and had a true appreciation and love of music. Paulette is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Al Lukaszewski.
