August 17. 1963 – April 19, 2022
Beloved husband of Amy and devoted father to Isabella
Loving brother/brother-in-law to Steven (Marguerite), David (Cyndi), Ralph (Lisa), Lisa, Pamela, George (Liz)
Dear uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews
Paul lived a life of focus. He was disciplined and devoted. When he set his mind to something, he made it happen. From courting the love of his life, Amy, to pouring himself into his long-awaited and hoped for daughter, Isabella. His family always came first.
Paul was generous with his time and talents, always willing to help family and friends. And his talents were diverse, from his 35 years as a database administrator with NADEP Fleet and Readiness Center to helping friends and family move, or doctoring a broken orange tree, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Whether he was building memories with Isabella through father-daughter activities with the Indian Princesses, serving with the Knights of Columbus, accompanying the choir on his saxophone at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, he did it with all his heart.
Paul loved staying active – starting in his youth with Scouting (and earning the Eagle Scout designation at age xx), playing tennis throughout college with his sister, or cycling the roads of Florida with the North Florida Bicycle Club, he enjoyed pushing himself to the limit. These past two years were no exception as he fought hard against cancer, pushing hard to do everything he could to win the battle.
But in the end, God has called him home to heaven, where there is no more pain or suffering. Paul has touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
Your thoughts and prayers are most desired, but in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St.
Jude’s Children Hospital in Paul’s honor.
